My 2008 audiogram

Found my 2008 audiogram in my files and scanned it. Turns out I'm more HOH then I remembered. Can't hear anything beyond 2000hz.

I wonder why we are not tested with our hearing aids on? I would like to see the difference, with and without aids.

I asked my audiologist that question on Monday. She said that it takes a certain size of room for that testing which is not available at the office I usually go to but is available at another office. I wish I could be more precise in what's required to perform the test. Hopefully someone else will post with better information.
I do plan to request that the next time I'm scheduled for an audiogram.

I found your blog when I did a Google search for audiograms. I know alot about this since im profoundly deaf myself. You should find an audiologist that can give you an aided audiogram. What's your speech % score unaided? Aided? What kind of speech test?

I plan to get stem cells soon and discuss this plenty on my blog. If you aren't against stem cells, do you plan to get them yourself, perhaps after I get it and if it works for me? Id be really happy if I had your level of hearing. I hear aided worse than what you hear unaided!
